Palms Boat Club was organized in January 2008.  A new Sea Ray Select, 21 foot, Runabout and a new Premier Grand Majestic, 23 foot, Pontoon were purchased as our initial fleet.  A  Kawasaki Jet Ski was also added.  

With the rising cost of premium watercraft's (between $40,000 to $50,000), the scarcity of boat slips on Lake LBJ, all the extra costs for insurance and maintenance, a boat club makes great sense.  Tropical Hideaway condo owners, with the addition of a new dock beside their private beach in 2008, encouraged the idea of a boat club, a new amenity for owners and guests to enjoy along with the pools, tennis courts and other game areas.  

How it Works!

An email or call to us can reserve your boat up to a six months in advance.  From May to September, we schedule two six hour outings per day.  From October to April, we schedule one per day.  You arrive at your reserved boat and fill out a short check-out form before you go.  When your outing is over, your return to our dock, do minor cleanup for the next member's outing, then go have fun at the pool.  All members are responsible to replace all fuel used.  Each member is required to complete boating safety and boat operation training from a PBC staffer before their first outing.
